Anadarko Petroleum has reached a $2.3 billion deal with Sanchez Energy and Blackstone Energy that marks its exit from the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. The divested assets include 155,000 net acres (318,00 gross acres) in Dimmit and Webb counties from which daily sales volumes totaled 45,000 barrels of liquids and 131 million cubic feet of natural gas at the end of the fourth quarter.
