RUSSIA'S GAS monopoly Gazprom resumed full deliveries of gas to Georgia and Armenia in late January, following a presidential order to get the supply back up and running after the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia pipeline was severely damaged by a rock slide on 14 January. Gazprom had been supplying the two former Soviet republics with 12MMcm/d of gas; following the incident, it switched supplies to the Vladikavkaz-Tbilisi line, but a separate rock slide four days later also knocked that out as well.
