Buyers are expected to show higher demand after a lull in the Russian market for chromium alloys. Quotations of high-carbon ferrochrome in national currency have remained largely the same, however, US dollar-denominated prices have increased by 2.1% on currency fluctuations, reaching $1,980/t, including VAT and delivery. At the same time, low-carbon ferrochrome is quoted at $3,315-3,455/t, February shipment (VAT and delivery included).
