Isuzu has developed new drivetrain system "Smoother-F" which was a manual transmission with no clutch pedal. This system brings on less maintenance cost and good easy-drive capability. It has two clutch-equipments, one is a wet-multiple clutch and the other is a fluid coupling. The former works as shifting-clutch, and the later as starting-clutch. These have longer life then conventional dry single-clutch, and do not need to exchange in vehicle life.
