We always start out from the premise that we are allowed to publish what we receive. If you are not certain whether a particular subject is right for "European Coatings Journal" (ECJ), just contact us. Receipt of your manuscript is acknowledged immediately, and within four weeks you'll know whether your article is going to be published and, if so, when. Once it has been accepted for publication, we are deemed to have acquired the right to use it in other of our publications and media, such as databanks and web-based services. Previous or concurrent publication in any other journal (including those outside Germany) will render void this (acceptance. Reprints are subject to our consent. The editors reserve the right to make reasonable amendments, abridgments, etc. The layout of the article and date of publication are subject to the editors' decision. By accept-ing the article for publication, we also acquire the right to use it in any form of electronic media.
