Kina Petroleum’s PPL 338 licence in Papua New Guinea (PNG) has been extended for a further five years, while the operator has also been handed a new licence for PPL 581. The awarded licence covers part of the area of the previous PPL 338 licence, Kina said. The original PPL 338 licence expired in September 2015 and upon expiry Kina relinquished 50 of the licence area.
