Providence Resources and its partner Sosina Exploration have taken on the Stena IceMAX drillship for work in the Southern Porcupine Basin offshore southwest Ireland. The rig will work in Frontier Exploration Licence 2/14 (FEL 2/14), which has a water depth of around 2,250m (7,382ft) and is located 220km offshore Ireland.
