摘要

An approach to Darlington's synthesis is described which is based entirely on a single Foster reactance (LPR) function. The procedure stems from the remarkable result that any section producing an arbitrary transmission zero within its class(Brune, type C, type D, reciprocal, or nonreciprocal), can be extracted from any prescribed LPR function, leaving an LPR remainder of reduced degree. The nonreciprocal sections play a prominent role in the discussion.
