Anglo American has announced the full acquisition of Peace River Coal ("PRC"). AngloAmerican paid a total of US$166m for the 25.17% of interest of PRC that it did not ownto Northern Energy & Mining and Hillsborough Resources. Northern Energy's 12.18%interest in PRC received US$76m whilst Hillsborough Resource's 12.99% interestreceived US$81m. Hillsborough Resources received a further US$9m for its royaltyrights relating to PRC.
