The development of the nanoelectrospray ion source is described.The main attributes of the nanoelectrospray source are the extremeluy low flow rates fof only several nanoliters per minute thatit can support in a stable manner.This source allowd sequencing of mintue amounts of biologicallyimportant proteins.
