Upfront, I would like to wish the membership a peaceful and restful Christmas and New Year break. I am sure that 2015 will be another year full of events and challenges. 2014 has been challenging; however we continue to grow despite the hardships. We have hosted a few successful meetings and this will always be a focal point of our income. GSSA with our partners are about to enter the home stretch for the IGC 2016 event and are seeking sponsorships and participation to ensure the success of this event. When I penned the previous article it was "Women's Month" and I am glad to announce that Dr Jeannette McGill has been elected President Elect and will take over from me at the next AGM in mid-2015.
