The X-ray foreign object detector is the equipment for the purpose of detecting the foreign objects which have been mixed by the process of food manufacture in the product. Recently, this equipment drastically spreads by the increase of sense of impending crisis for the foreign objects contamination accident and the development of the new product successively. Small size, light and low-cost X-ray foreign objects detector SLDX-2000XAS by limiting to the inspection of the small packaged food, compared to the conventional equipment has been developed. In this paper, the advantage and the outline of foreign objects detection principle of SLDX-2000XAS are described.
