Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra, the late sister of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, made significant contributions to various areas in Thailand, including healthcare. HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana dedicated herself to improving kidney health and supporting patients with kidney diseases in the Kingdom of Thailand through the Kidney Foundation of Thailand, a non-profit organization, as a founder and patron from 1978 to 2008. The foundation has been instrumental in improving the standard of care in kidney diseases, dialysis and transplantation through countless activities.
