摘要

Heat transfer under the influence of radiation in a square cavity divided into different portions filled with saturated porous medium is analyzed. The flow is assumed to follow the Darcylaw. The governing equations are nondimensionalised and solved numerically using Finite Element Method. Left vertical surface of the square cavity is maintained at isothermal temperature Th and right vertical surface at Tc. Results are presented in terms of nusselt number at hot wall of the cavity for various parameters. it is seen that the average nusselt number at hot wall increases with increase in radiation parameter.
