A year of work has paid off for Civil and Marine, a part of Hanson UK, which has just received a CE mark for its ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS).The mark was awarded by the European Commission, following independent testing by the British Standards Institution. It certifies the characteristics of the product and that the correct procedures are in place throughout the manufacturing process.
