Co_(90)P_(10) amorphous microtubes withthickness ranging from 2 to 19 #mu#m were electrodepositedonto Cu wire substrates. Samples exhibit radial magneticanisotropy as deduced from hysteresis loops and magnetic forcemicroscopy imaging. These microtubes show quite noticeablegiant magnetoimpedance effect (GMI) with amplitudedepending on layer thickness and frequency. The hysteresis inthe GMI curves is small, which can be ascribed to the radialanisotropy. Such small hysteresis is of importance fortechnological applications.
