Wise property investors will first carry out careful research to reap the highest returns and avoid any nasty surprises. The great Australian property dream is alive and well. A recent survey of 2000 Australians showed that although 89 per cent would like to own their own homes, only 58 per cent actually did. This is the lowest in five years and a stark reminder of how difficult it has become to enter the property market.
