摘要

Emergency leak response is taken seriously at PSEG which has about 1.7 million gas customers in New Jersey. Like most utilities, PSEG shift coverage for first responders extends over 24 hours per day/7 days per week/ 365 days per year to ensure that leaks and emergencies are responded to within 60 minutes or less. Appliance Service technicians respond to about 110,000 Leak Emergency calls on an annual basis, and achieve a response rate of 60 minutes or less within 99.8 of the time. PSEG Gas Delivery management drives the Appliance Service business's leak response rate successfully through scorecard metrics to meet New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) reporting requirements.
