Seeing a gap in the market and giving customers an increasing choice of quality tomatoes has allowed US tomato producer Eurofresh Farms to triple sales in the last five years. With plans for further expansion the company is confident that sales will continue to grow. Eurofresh Farms is already the largest producer of greenhouse tomatoes in the USA and demand continues to drive its expansion. Today its state-of the-art greenhouses cover 212 acres (86 ha) and it produces nearly 100 million 1b (45mkg) of tomatoes, which for seven years running have been voted the country's best tasting tomatoes by an independent culinary panel. Based in Willcox, Arizona, its main markets have been the SW states but it is now pushing further afield and it is now in a position to ship supplies across the whole country.
