Family sawmill Claude Forget moved a few kilometres south to a new location, taking over a bankrupt mill and its fibre supply, and creating a whole new mill layout. The Forget family's place in the history of the Mont Tremblant region resort, the area had also been home to the Forget's forestry operations for over a century, and since the early 80's, the neighbouring resort town of St Jovite has been home to the Claude Forget Inc. SPF sawmill.
