Following delivery of a single-coil overhead furnace, the Austrian specialist Ebner Industrieofenbau has delivered another facility as a part of the strategic expansion of the Corus Duffel works. The gasfired "Hicon" floater furnace is designed to solution heat treat coldrolled aluminum alloy strip for use in the automobile industry, and consists of both a heat treatment section and a combined air/water cooling section.
