Over its 40-year history the Otefal group has developed to become one of Europe's leading manufacturers of coated aluminium sheets and strips, in particular for demanding architectural applications. Especially in the field of powder coating the company has done pioneering work. A new combined powder and liquid coating line enables it to make the most of the advantages of both processes for product optimisation. Moreover, to become independent of the market in future for the procurement of aluminium strips, Otefal started operating its own casting and rolling equipment at its Italian parent plant in L'Aquila at the end of 2006.
