China’s prices for welded linepipe continues to drop to ever lower recordlevels, with ERW API 5L grade B at $400/tonne FOB and LSAW API 5L X60 at $530/tonne FOB. As mentioned last month we understood that Chinese weldedlinepipe prices had been transacting at ever lower prices to the Middle East inparticular. In the UAE we had heard that China-origin ERW API 5L B materialwas trading at levels of $400-500/tonne CFR Jebel Ali, and these prices havecome to dominate the market price level this month.
