Pressures are tendingto depress prices, with much of the pressure comingfrom China, with falling domestic prices and a surplus to offer the world. HR coil is feelingthe effects, not least because Chinese steelmakers are raising coil output and the closures under the underperforming restructuring programme seem to be concentrated on old rebar units. Steelmakers amongChina's neighbours are braced forthe effects, but they will not be alone.
