Optical properties of hydrogen terminated silicon nanocrystals

摘要

We have studied photoluminescence properties of H-terminated and surface-oxidized Si nanocrystals by resonant excitation spectroscopy. In both resonantly excited luminescence and luminescence hole-burning spectra, TO- and TA-phonon relatedstructures are clearly observed in H-terminated Si nanocrystals, compared to the case of surface-oxidized Si nanocrystals. The luminescence properties of H-terminated Si nanocrystals are discussed.
