The third international Materials Congress, to be held in London from April 9-11, addresses a wealth of hot topics in materials across a wide range of industries and applications. Experts from around the world will be presenting their views and latest findings in: Photonics and electronics Materials in sport and leisure; Crime prevention technologies; Biomedical materials; Nanotechnology; Sustainable development; Superconductivity; Materials in transport; and Packaging materials.The event, being held in the Institute's headquarters and adjacent buildings in Carlton House Terrace in central London, aims to attract materials engineers from a variety of industrial sectors and academia, as well as science administrators, financial service experts and the media.
