Air Products offers its 'Rilee' (recycling incineration low exhaust emission) low emissions oxy-fuel furnace for melting non-ferrous' metals - plus the latest in furnace and protective atmosphere technology. Air Products' 'Rilee' low emission oxy-fuel furnace uses 100 percent oxygen. This enables secondary aluminium processors, and other non-ferrous melters, to process low-quality, oily scrap without pre-treatment and thus eliminates the need for expensive equipment to 'clean' the scrap prior to melting. The 100 percent oxy-fuel combustion system also enables aluminium processors to significantly reduce their nitrogen oxide, particulate and organic emissions, whilst also improving metal yield.
