As we rush towards the end of 2010, into the silly season and onto the doorstep of yet another year, it is timely to consider the opportunities that 2011 will bring to both the Logistics Association of Australia and our industry, 2011 represents dual milestones for the LAA, as it was in February 1971 (40 years ago) that the Australian Physical Distribution Management Association formed as a special interest group of AIM, and in September 1986 (25 years ago), the Logistics Management Association came into being. Rest assured that these milestones will be celebrated during 2011, although that is not the theme of this article.
