Bodyshops are striving to make their work as carbon head of any EU-imposed climate levy legislation, more enlightened bodyshops are actively reducing their carbon footprint. Sapphire Garage has recently spent ￡5m on a second repair shop in Manchester, extending its workspace to around 80,000 sq ft to cope with an average of 120 vehicles a week. Features include the latest energy-saving spraybooths, lighting that automatically dims according to natural light, and energy efficient heating.
