The Environmental Division recently initiated a program to recognize authors for their contributions to the body of knowledge at the SME Annual Meeting. The program recognizes the outstanding contributions of presentations and papers in conjunction with the Environmental Division's technical program. The 2011 SME Annual Meeting in Denver, CO was the inaugural year for the awards. The division congratulates all authors and presenters for their contributions. The program included 14 sessions and nearly 90 presentations. In addition, 20 authors submitted manuscripts that are included on the preprint disk.
