The Environmental Division's (ED) annual meeting was held Feb. 25, 2008 following the ED executive committee meeting Sunday Feb. 24, 2008. Those attending the meeting included Charles Bucknam, Newmont Mining; Diane Crawford, Golder Associates; Casey McKeon, Resolution Copper; Jen Pepe, Golder Associates; Douglas Peters, Peters Geosciences; Bob Reisinger, URS Corp.; George Robinson, R2 Inc.; Madan Singh, Arizona Department of Mines and Mineral Resources; Mark Stock, Global Hydrologic; Anne Williamson, URS Corp.; Patrick Williamson, SWS. Bucknam, division chair, recommended future monthly agenda topics for 2008: April, Research Council; May, Membership Committee; June, Minerals Resources Management Committee; July, SME Accreditation and Curricular Issues; August, Student Member Affairs; September, Information Publishing Committee; October, Internet Committee; November, Mining Engineering Committee; December, Professional Engineers Exam Program; January 2009, Sustainable Development Committee.
