Dear Friends ofWAAIME, As my last official duty as chair of WAAIME's Executive Committee, I present this brief synopsis of our actions at the SME Annual Meeting and the items still under discussion. Thank you for being patient with us as we remake ourselves after the merger with SME. Our first order of business was to choose a replacement for the Eastern Representative on the WAAIME Executive Committee. Our choice was Susan Harwood from the West Virginia-Southern Section. Harwood has served previously on the WAAIME national board as Scholarship Loan chairman, making her a great fit. Welcome aboard, Susan.
