Leica Geosystems expanded its presence in Western Australia with the acquisition of Perth-based Rinex Technology. Rinex is one of Australia's premier hardware and software companies for machine based GPS guidance systems. In August, Leica Geosystems also officially launched its Western Australian office for mining systems. Leica Geosystems is a supplier of mine management, optimization and GPS guidance solutions for mining machinery.
