It is with thanks to Andrew Farrow that Mineral Planning brings you what he suggests to be possibly "the worst map ever".The map, reproduced on this page, was included in a scooping report submitted to Cheshire CC relating to the proposed drilling for oil and gas in the Irish Sea. The applicants were Burlington Resources (Irish Sea) Ltd. Andrew says: "It is, quite possibly, the most inaccurate map I've ever encountered, and you may want to share it with your readers".He points out, in fairness to Burlington, that a revised plan and suitably apologetic letter were provided about two weeks later.
