In early 2005, Advanced Initiation Systems (AIS) became the US affiliate of the global Davey Bickford organization. Now operating as Davey Bickford USA, Inc., we combine our efforts with and share in the vast application experience of Davey Bickford worldwide to offer greater product strength and improved customer support. With a full line of initiation products, the foundation of our offering lies in the high accuracy Daveytronic Digital Blasting System. The revolutionary electronic detonators feature timing delays ranging from 1 to 4,000 milliseconds (ms) and are programmed in 1 ms increments. The system delivers detonator accuracies reaching 0.1 ms for increased highwall stability, improved rock fragmentation, reduced excavation costs and lower vibration levels.
