Dear Editors, Thank you authors for this study on a current topic in ACL reconstruction [3]. The findings in this study are fascinating and the use of an innovative technique to measure graft displacement is to be applauded. However, there are different inferences to be made of the results and we would advise caution on the conclusions made. It is mentioned that 'The most important finding of the present study was that there was no mechanical difference in the overall properties between a doubled tendon and a tripled tendon graft when used in association with a suspensory fixation. "The authors have concluded this because despite using a larger tripled graft, there was no statistical difference in the yield loads.
