摘要

Psathyrella tuberculata is recognized in Africa and particularlyin West Africa for its many therapeutic properties. For decades, thismushroom has been the subject of several scientific studies in order tohighlight its various therapeutic properties, proven in traditional medicine, and to understand its mechanism of action. It is within this framework that this research work falls, which is acontribution to the study of Psathyrella tuberculata a food mushroom.Material and methods: The material was the whole mushroom (Psathyrellatuberculata) including the stem and the cap. The experimental study firstconcerned the identification of the drug by macroscopic and micrographicdescription. Then, the secondary metabolites were sought and then assayedby HPLC. Then the biochemical constants were calculated after trials intriplicate. The experimental study focused on the total aqueous extractobtained by the decoction method. After extraction and phytochemicalanalyzes, the antihyperglycemic effect in vivo in Wistar rats was evaluated. This hyperglycemia was induced by oral overload with 30 glucose. Also, other parametersResults: The phytochemical analysis of Psathyrella tuberculata based onstaining and/or precipitation reactions revealed the presence of heterogeneityof chemical groups (saponins, terpenes, sterols, alkaloids, quinonics, polyphenols, flavonoids). The results obtained on rat blood glucose levelsshowed that the product caused a significant drop in blood sugar levels afteroral glucose overload. Psathyrella tuberculata is therefore active in rats givenglucose overload, but its action on fasting blood sugar is not significant. Thepharmacological study on the activity of Psathyrella tuberculata shows adecrease in blood glucose in rats given an oral glucose overload (post-mealglucose).Conclusion: Consequently, Psathyrella tuberculata could be recommended asfood to diabetics as well as in a person wanting to prevent diabetes.
