German market for long products is seeing no changes. Both end-users and traders are still in a wait-and-see mode, hoping to obtain additional discounts from suppliers. At the same time, trading companies have no urgent need in new purchases in view of moderate stocks in the country. Besides, domestic steelmakers are unable to strengthen their positions due to availability of cheaper import material.
