In the title compound, C16H17NO2, the cyclo#173;hexene ring adopts a boat conformation, and the five-membered rings have envelope conformations with the bridging atom as the flap. Their mean planes are oriented at a dihedral angle of 86.51#8197;(7)#176;. The mol#173;ecular structure is stabilized by a short intra#173;molecular C#8212;H#8943;O contact. In the crystal, mol#173;ecules are linked by O#8212;H#8943;O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along 100. The chains are linked by C#8212;H#8943;#960; inter#173;actions, forming slabs parallel to (001).
