摘要

In the title compound C22H18BrN3, the cyclo#173;pentane ring adopts an envelope conformation with the central methyl#173;ene C atom as the flap. The dihedral angles between the central pyridine ring and the pendant benzyl and and bromo#173;benzene rings are 82.65#8197;(1) and 47.23#8197;(1)#176;, respectively. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N#8212;H#8943;Nn (n = nitrile) hydrogen bonds generate R22(12) loops. These dimers are linked by weak #960;#8211;#960; inter#173;actions centroid#8211;centroid distance = 3.7713#8197;(14)#8197;#197; into a layered structure.
