摘要

Tacrolimus remains the cornerstone of renal transplant immunosuppressive regimen since many decades. The toxicity with narrow therapeutic widow and significant intra and inter individual variations in pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of tacrolimus are the main obstacles in the clinical use of this drug. Evidences are emerging which show that genetic polymorphisms can influence PK and PD of tacrolimus. In this study the effect of MDR1 C3435T SNP on tacrolimus dosing and toxicities was extensively considered in renal transplant recipients for the first 3 months of post renal transplantation.
