DON'T LET THE "T" IN THIS UPDATED VER-sion of Audi's executive class sedan fool you; the 3.0-liter V-6 uses a supercharger instead of a turbocharger for its forced induction, which yields 300 bhp and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, a significant increase over the 255-bhp 3.2-liter V-6 found in the front-drive base car. So good is the responsiveness of this engine (which lacks the customary supercharger whine), you'd almost swear there was a V-8 under the hood.
