If my typing seems even slower than usual this morning, it's because I was up until 3:30 a.m. reading a paperback thriller - with a large yellow cat sitting on my chest, so I had to hold the book in mid-air. Yes, I literally could not put the book down. Didn't want to, either. This was no New York Times best-Seller, however, but a self-published biography called A Life Changed, written by Thuong Ledinh, M.D. I got it in the mail last week, with a nice note from the author. He wrote the book for his friends and family, he said, printing only a few copies.
