India has recently joined the Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) system of the int er-governmental think tank of rich countries, OE CD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development). MAD is basically concerned with testing of chemicals for the safety of human health and environment. Now the OECD standards and Good Laboratory Practices can be accessed by India for chemicals testing.
