The global glove industry has come of age. Years of innovation and sustained efforts have put the industry in an unassailable position. Yet, the quest for excellence and beyond is continuing and rightly so. The road ahead is both challenging and exciting. The challenges include: More and more stringent quality standards, rising labour and raw material costs, stiffening domestic and international competition, technological advances, economic downturn, inroads being made by synthetic gloves, the immense potential yet to be tapped etc.
