SUNDAY MORNING, April 2, Top Meadow Farms of Clarksburg, Ontario, loaded up a pot belly transport truck with 19 breeding bulls headed for western Canada. Five other bulls were loaded onto an east-bound truck to Quebec. The day before, at Carson Auctions in Listowel, a total of 45 Limousin bulls sold for an average price of 3,611 dollar, in Top Meadow's first annual spring bull sale. Bids came in from as far away as British Columbia and bulls sold to ranchers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Ontario.
