The interim scheme on sale of coal through e-booking route has evoked a mixed reaction in the industrial sector. In this pretext we have found a note resentment amongst consumers for the said practice. Especially non-core sector have opined e-booking scheme, detrimental to their interests and turning in favour of a few buyers who are taking advantage of better technological and financial back-up for their commercial gain. The real consumers are adversely affected by the first come first served policy in e-booking route. The allotment process ended within a second while the actual given duration was fifteen minutes.
