At the end of the day, a fork lift truck is only as safe as the person using it. Your site and equipment can be immaculately maintained and managed, but if an operator is cutting corners or otherwise reckless, all other safety precautions could count for nothing. Some of the most common operator errors are: 1. Speeding; 2. Overloading the truck; 3. Not using the parking brake properly; 4. Forgetting seat belts; 5. Failing to observe pedestrians and hazards.
