摘要

Quality of life was assessed at the start and at the end of OCR using the multidimensional PLC questionnaire (Profil der Lebensqualitat Chronisch-kranker). For the definition of depressive symptoms 8 items of PLC were used. A value below the 25th percentile was set to classify the patient as depressive. In the year 2008 (a mean of four years after completion of the OCR, min. 2, max. 9 y.), all patients with an understanding of the German language were sent a questionnaire which included questions on morbid events, hospital admissions, current wellbeing and two screening questions for depression described by Arrol. Complete data sets were available in 710 patients.
