Electricity company TVO said it has not received an updated schedule for the completion of the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power station, which it requested from the constructors, Areva-Siemens. so it is not providing an estimated start-up date for the facility. The most recent estimate was 2016, which would place the facility seven years behind the original schedule. TVO said a milestone was achieved in February when reactor containment leak-tightness tests were completed. The 1.6 GW power station is the first of Areva-Siemens' EPR design to be built.
